Sidna Ali Mosque – Herzliya

The Sidna Ali Mosque sits on the cliffs overlooking Sidna Ali beach. The mosque was built in the 13th century after the Malmuks defeated the Crusaders during the Third Crusade and was named after one of Saladin’s lieutenants who had died at that location. Unfortunately I visited the mosque on noon Friday, right during worship.
