Ad-Deir – Petra

Ad-Deir (or the Monastery), is second to Al-Khazneh as Petra’s most famous attraction (because it is much less accessible). However you can clearly see that its architecture is much more simplified than the embellished Treasury. I liked Ad-Deir better because there were a lot less people and a lot more view points. It was pretty amazing and an epic way to finish a three hour hike through the desert and up a mountain.
