Tomb of the Virgin Mary (Mount of Olives) – Jerusalem

The Tomb of the Virgin Mary is at the base of the Mount of Olives, located near the Grotto of Gethsemane and contains the traditional tomb of the Virgin Mary (although another one rests on Mt Zion). The complex is underground and characterized by a lot of low hanging lamps (1, 7) and the smell of incense. The tomb itself (2) is located within a smaller complex, much like in the Holy Sepulchre.
