Greenwich – London

Greenwich, now official a borough of London, was originally its own city, in the south east of London. It is home to Greenwich University (2 – 4), as well as Maritime Greenwich, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, that includes the Royal Observatory, the National Maritime Museum (see following posts), and the Queen’s Residence (5). Greenwich is most famous for its role in navigation and astronomy, and gives its name to the Greenwich Meridian (Prime Meridian) and Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

Also there is no itinerant ice cream sales.
