National Maritime Museum – London

The National Maritime Museum (1) in Greenwich, part of Maritime Greenwich, was established in 1934 and is the largest museum of its kind. It’s dedicated to all the British Navy and explorers’ exploits. Among the collection are various models, as well as larger pieces and hulls of ships (5), smaller boats (6, 7), and most famously, the uniform of Vice Admiral Horatio Nelson (8). There was also an exhibition of toy boats while we were visiting, as well as a shirt that read “Salty Sea Dog” that Robin almost bought.
